Celebrating 35 Years of ChiRhoClin, Inc.
1991–2026

In 1991, Dr. Edward D. Purich founded ChiRhoClin with a commitment to science, innovation, and better patient care. Alongside him, Jean Purich helped build it into the family-run company it remains today. Over the past 35 years, that vision has grown into a specialized orphan drug company dedicated to developing products and advancing research in the diagnosis and treatment of pancreatic and gastrointestinal diseases.

Throughout our history, ChiRhoClin has brought together physicians, scientists, universities, and leading pancreatic researchers to deepen the understanding of pancreatic disease and to support research into earlier detection of pancreatic cancer and other pancreatic disorders. That commitment continues today, as new research explores secretin-stimulated pancreatic fluid as a source of biomarkers that could detect disease at earlier, more actionable stages.

Today, the next generation of the Purich family carries that mission forward. Building on my father’s legacy, we are expanding collaboration, research, and new opportunities in pancreatic medicine. As we celebrate this milestone, we honor where we started and the people and science that brought us here, and we look ahead to the next 35 years of discovery, innovation, and improved pancreatic health.
